NEC GRANT US INDEFINITE STRIKE- ASUU KOGI STATE UNIVERSITY

Dr. Usman Ogbo Breaking News: Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) Kogi State University, Anyigba Chapter has been forced by the Kogi State Government to embark on an indefinite, total and comprehensive 'strike' action beginning from today Friday 3rd February, 2017. Recall that the Joint Action Congress (JAC) of all non teaching staff unions of the state owned tertiary institutions were equally compelled by the Kogi State Government and had embarked on similar indefinite 'strike' action since Tuesday 31st January, 2017.

 KOGIGIST gathered today, a meeting was held by ASUU-KSU congress praying that NEC should grant the branch the permission to embark on a total and indefinite strike action. this is due to the non payment of outstanding salaries for over eight months. this was signed by the chairman ASUU-KSU DR D.O Aina.
